Even though scientists and medical professionals have identified the virus
that causes SARS, the worldwide transmission and control of this disease
is on the forefront of the minds of many national and local government
leaders. Recent reports of the identification of a few SARS cases in Northern
Virginia shows our area is not immune to this disease. Please join us
for a briefing by officials from the Montgomery County Government. You
can learn the latest procedures the county government is taking to detect
and control SARS, and you can ask questions and address your concerns.
This briefing is open to all. Translators will be available in Mandarin
Chinese and Cantonese dialects.
