(WONTON) SOUP KITCHEN

Some people can't afford to eat Chinese food. On Saturday, May 24th (Memorial Day weekend), we will be teaming up with the Bethesda Cares Lunch Program to wrap wontons and make wonton soup for about 35 homeless men and women from around Montgomery County, Maryland.
These men and women received the toothbrushes/toothpaste you generously donated at the
kick-off dinner. They also received the deodorant, soap, dental floss, socks, and cans of food you brought to the happy/charity hours. Come and we'll introduce you to them. They're a friendly bunch who are just a little down on their luck.
When: Saturday, May 24th, 10am - noon (Please come early to help prepare the food. Our guests will arrive promptly at 11am)
Where: Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 7611 Clarendon Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Street parking available. Also Metro accessible: Bethesda (red line). * Enter the kitchen through the door that says "Education Building and Fellowship Hall" around back. Warning: It is quite difficult to find, but don't give up, ask around!
Cost: Donations are more than welcome to help cover the cost of the food.
If interested, please RSVP by Wednesday, May 21th to Teach Roberts or Linda Wang at ocayp_rsvp@hotmail.com.
** Also, if you have any special talents (singing, dancing, musical instuments, comedy, etc.) and would like to perform for our guests, please let us know. A piano is available.
